The heart of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, blockchain came into existence in 2009. It is a digital distributed ledger where all information or transactions are stored. All these information is immutable, unalterable, and unchangeable.

As we all are aware about Bitcoin is a public. Basically, anyone can read the chain, anyone can make legitimate changes and anyone can write a new block into the chain.

For these reasons, it’s known by its widest description, a public blockchain. But, this is not the only way to build a blockchain.

Blockchains can be built that require permission to read the information on the blockchain, that limit the parties who can transact on the blockchain and that set who can serve the network by writing new blocks into the chain.

For example, Ripple runs a permission blockchain. The start-up determines who may act as transaction validator on their network, and it has included CGI, MIT and Microsoft as transaction validators, while also building its own nodes in different locations around the world.

Meetup is about connecting people with something in common. From activities you love and hobbies you want to try, to ways you identify yourself and who you want to be. We “The Ayanworks” Co-Hosted the Explore the Hyperledger Greenhouse Business Blockchain Frameworks and Tools Meetup held on 17th Nov 2018. Speakers were Sanjay Nishank, Ajay Jadhav, Ravikant Agrawal and Kirankalyan Kulkarni.

We covered the topics like

  • Quick Introduction to Hyperledger Umbrella Project, Frameworks and Tools.
  • Business use cases built using Hyperledger Frameworks.
  • Blockchain use cases in the Fintech space.
  • What new in Hyperledger Fabric.
  • Hyperledger Announcement.

Project Hyperledger is hosted by the LINUX Foundation and deals with blockchain implementation and connected tooling comes.

The project was launched at the end of 2015 and quickly attracted the attention of several large companies that were early adopters of distributed ledger technologies at that time. This has resulted in several project proposals that have been adopted as incubators since 2016. In most cases, an existing code base has already been submitted with the respective proposals. This includes the well-known projects like Hyperledger Sawtooth, Hyperledger IROHA, Hyperledger Fabric, Hyperledger Burrow and Hyperledger Indy.

Let’s get the basic idea of each one of it.

Hyperledger SAWTOOTH:

Hyperledger Sawtooth is a modular platform for creating, deploying and running distributed lasers. Hyperledger Sawtooth contains a novel consensus algorithm, proof of launch time (POET), which targets a large distributed validity population with minimal resource consumption.

Hyperledger IROHA:

Hyperledger IROHA is easy to use, with modular distributed blockchain platforms with its unique consensus and ordering service algorithms, rich role-based permissions model and multi-signature support.

Hyperledger FABRIC:

As a basis for developing applications or solutions with a modular architecture, Hyperledger allows components such as consensus and membership services to be plug-and-play.

Hyperledger BURROW:

Hyperledger Burrow is an acceptable smart contract machine. On its release in December 2014, the first of its kind, the Borough provides a modular blockchain client, in which an approved smart contract interpreter created for the specification of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Hyperledger INDY:

Hyperledger Indy is a distributed account, the purpose is designed for decentralized identification. It provides tools, libraries, and reusable components for creating and using independent digital identities based on Blockchain or other distributed lasers for interactivity.

Hyperledger also introduced tools to help enterprises around the world deliver on the promise of blockchain for more secure, more reliable, and more streamlined interactions.

Hyperledger CELIPER:

Hyperledger Celiper is a blockchain benchmark tool, which allows users to measure the performance of a specific blockchain implementation with a predefined set of cases.

Hyperledger CELLO:

The purpose of Hyperledger Cello is to bring the blockchain ecosystem to the on-demand “As-A-service” deployment model so that the necessary efforts to create, manage and eliminate block chunks can be reduced.

Hyperledger COMPOSER:

Hyperledger Composer is a collaborative tool for creating Blockchain Business Networks, accelerating the development of smart contracts and for their deployment in a distributed account holder.

Hyperledger Explorer:

Hyperledger Explorer can view, invite, deploy, or query the block, transaction and related data, network information, chain code and transaction families as well as any other relevant information stored in the laser.

Hyperledger Quilt:

The Hyperledger enables the interactive interaction between the account system by implementing the QVT ILP, which is primarily a payment protocol and is designed to transfer the value in a distributed laser and non-distributed laser.

The Hyperledger Green House project allows multiple Hyperledger project to communicate, transact and share data among each other. This will help to expand real time business solutions around the world.
