AYANWORKS Wins Hedera India Hackathon & Bharat Blockchain Industry Excellence Award:
A proud moment for AYANWORKS at the Bharat Blockchain Yatra Grand Finale 2024! We won the Hedera India Hackathon 2024, jointly hosted by The Hashgraph Association and Information Data Systems (IDS). Our focused work in the decentralized identity space since 2018, the implementation of identity solutions at population scale, and CREDEBL (recognized as DPG) as our flagship product have combinedly secured a spot in the top 3, unlocking a Grant worth USD $250,000 from The Hashgraph Association. Besides this, we received the Bharat Blockchain Industry Excellence Award 2024 in the Decentralized Identity category, an honor that underscores our ongoing efforts to scale impactful identity solutions and bring value to our customers. A heartfelt thanks to Hedera, The Hashgraph Association, Information Data Systems (IDS), and the Bharat Blockchain Yatra team for recognizing our work and for their unwavering support. Signing of MOU with NIPER Mohali to Issue Digital Verifiable Degree Certificates
We have signed an MOU with the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS NAGAR, Mohali NIPER Mohali is the first national-level institute in pharmaceutical sciences, with the proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers Government of India. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance' (INI). It plays a pivotal role in advancing the Indian pharmaceutical industry and nurturing future industry leaders. As part of this MOU, we have provided digital verifiable credentials issuance solution - EduCreds (our Blockchain based verifiable certificates issuance platform) to postgraduates during their 15th Convocation. This initiative aligns with the New Education Policy and enhances the learning experience through digital transformation.
LF Decentralized Trust Member Summit 2024:
The LF Decentralized Trust Member Summit 2024 in San Francisco was a historic event, being the first summit since the Hyperledger ecosystem became a part of LF Decentralized Trust. At the summit, our CTO Ajay Jadhav engaged with a global community of thought leaders and innovators. The summit was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas on the future of decentralized identity and its potential to transform business ecosystems.
CREDEBL Team at Identity Week Asia 2024:
Our CREDEBL team had an incredible experience at Identity Week Asia 2024 in Singapore! They connected with digital identity professionals, companies in Biometric products,and experts in various sectors of identity solutions from around the world. Two of the team members had the opportunity to be keynote speakers, one on the ‘Successful story of Bhutan NDI Implementation’ and second on ‘Unleashing the power of DPI’. They also participated in four panel discussions. The team shared insights on the latest trends in digital identity and verifiable credentials, showcasing how CREDEBL is shaping the future of decentralized identity solutions. We had an incredible footfall at the stall.
Global DPI Summit 2024:
We recently participated in the Global DPI Summit in Cairo, where we joined key stakeholders from around the world to discuss the future of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The summit showcased the growing potential of DPI and DPI-as-a-Service (DaaS), highlighting how these frameworks are enhancing digital trust and data privacy across regions. There were many speakers, thought leaders who shared their insights, experiences and how DPI can empower the country's economy and ensure the reach of each and every individual. India’s Aadhar has been a stepping stone for the development of DPIs worldwide. One amongst few other key messages derived was ‘DPI to the power of AI (DPI^AI) is the way forward for speedy implementation of DPI solutions’.
DPG Dialogues 2024 in Delhi:
Our team was proud to showcase CREDEBL at DPG Dialogues 2024 in Delhi, where we connected with global leaders to discuss the role of Digital Public Goods (DPGs) in driving decentralized identity solutions. The event was a fantastic platform for thought-provoking sessions on building and sustaining DPGs, with hands-on demonstrations that sparked meaningful conversations. As part of the Dedicated Mentoring Program (DMP) 2024 organized by Code for GovTech (C4GT), we have hosted multiple projects, providing young minds with the opportunity to contribute to CREDEBL and ADEYA.

Global Digital Identity Verification Costs Set to Decrease by 15% by 2029:
According to Juniper Research, the cost of digital identity verification, including checks for selfie biometrics, ID document authenticity, liveness detection, and fraud, will decrease from $0.20 in 2025 to $0.17 by 2029, a 15% reduction. This decline is due to the maturation and widespread adoption of identity verification processes. At the same time, global spending on identity verification is expected to rise by 74%, reaching $26 billion, which suggests a significant increase in the total number of verifications performed. Ghana Launches Biometric Border Control and E-Gates at Kotoka Airport:
In a move to strengthen its border security, Ghana has rolled out a biometric system to improve immigration procedures. This new system, which ensures higher security, transparency, and efficiency, was launched with the introduction of e-gates at Terminal 3 of Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra. Read more
Buenos Aires Adopts Decentralized Digital IDs with QuarkID:
Buenos Aires is moving towards a more decentralized digital identity system. Starting in October, the city’s miBA platform will integrate a blockchain-based self-sovereign identity (SSI) protocol, allowing about 3.6 million users to manage their digital identities securely and independently. Diego Fernández, the city’s Secretary of Innovation and Digital Transformation, confirmed the update. Read more
Hong Kong to Roll Out Mobile Driver’s Licenses in 2025:
Hong Kong is set to introduce mobile driver’s licenses by 2025. The city’s Transport Department and Department of Justice are working on legislation to make this happen, with plans to present the bill to the Legislative Council soon and launch the digital licenses within the next year. Read more
