Pune – September 16, 2024 – AYANWORKS is proud to join the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust (LFDT) as a Founding Member. This marks a significant milestone in our commitment to open-source innovation and progressing the self-sovereign identity capabilities.

Supported by diverse global members and communities, LF Decentralized Trust is a premier open source foundation for a rapidly growing ecosystem of blockchain, ledger, identity, cryptographic, and related technologies under the Linux Foundation.

This contribution aims to further accelerate the global adoption of Decentralized Identity and Verifiable Credentials technologies. By contributing CREDEBL to LF Decentralized Trust, we are reinforcing our mission to support the development and widespread use of these crucial technologies, which are essential for creating a more secure, transparent, and trustworthy digital trust ecosystem.

LF Decentralized Trust is a new umbrella organization aimed at gathering and expanding a community and portfolio of technologies to deliver the transparency, reliability, security, and efficiency needed to successfully upgrade critical systems worldwide.

It encompasses current Hyperledger projects, along with new technologies, communities, and specifications critical to the broader shift towards decentralized systems with distributed trust.

LF Decentralized Trust will serve as a neutral hub for the open development and governance of a wide range of ledger, identity, security, interoperability, scalability, implementation, and related technologies.
